Bian Jianxin wins Gold!
Atos Origin congratulates China's Bian Jianxin on winning gold in the women's 60kg powerlifting event. She started powerlifting in 1993 and has already won 11 golden medals and broken 11 world records and can now add another Paralympic gold to the one she won in Athens 2004!
Bian Jianxin is one of a number of athletes worldwide supported by Atos Origin, as part of its commitment to encouraging young talent in both sport and business. Atos Origin employees across China and the rest of the world have closely followed her in her preparations for Beijing and are very proud of her victory. Ms. Bian Jianxin was born in 1974 with serious infantile poliomyelitis.
She started her power lifting training in 1993 and won 11 golden medals and broke 11 world records in major sports events before 2004, such as the World Championships, Far East & South Pacific Games for the Disabled (FESPIC Games) and the Paralympic Games.
