Li Duan wins 2 Gold Medals!
Atos Origin congratulates China's Li Duan on winning two gold medals in the F11 men's triple jump and long jump competitions. Also, Li Duan broke the world record in Men's Triple Jump F11, which was previously held by a Spanish athlete for 10 years. Li Duan is a Paralympian since 1998, he also won gold in the same events in Athens 2004.
Li Duan is one of a number of athletes worldwide supported by Atos Origin, as part of its commitment to encouraging young talent in both sport and business. Born in 1978 Li Duan was a blind athlete from Liao Ning Province, China.
Li Duan was good at playing basketball in his childhood. He achieved becoming a champion in the China Youth Basketball Match and had been selected for the National Basketball Team. However, he was blind by an accident in 1996.
In 1998 Li Duan joined the Paralympic athlete team of Liaoning Province. Since then, he achieved gold medals from different major sport events worldwide.
